The Los Angeles premiere, and Serena's brief life as working staff. She's a production assistant on David O. Russell's adaptation of The Beautiful and the Damned, and the episode opens with her being told to get back to the production office after reminding her supervisor he promised she could watch a day of filming before the shoot wrapped. Marshall hands off his own to-do list to her — and one item on it gets handled by Nate and his medical card. Then a misstep trying to impress her boss undoes the whole thing. 

The top is closer to a sleeveless shell than a plain tank: soft ivory-cream in a fine, fluid weave, round neck, with a narrow ruffled placket running the full length of the center front and a gently curved shirttail hem that falls loose over the hip. The ruffle is the whole design — otherwise it's completely unstructured. On screen she wore it with red maxi skirt, a python-print tote, and a wrist of stacked bracelets, which tells you exactly how much of the "I have a real job now" story she actually committed to.
